**As of Sat Dec 27, 2025, Thomas Farms ground beef is no longer HAFSAA approved. Unfortunately Thomas Farms has stated they are now sourcing their ground beef from multiple countries. The only Thomas Farms products approved are ones that are sourced from Australia (Halal certified by ICCV or SICHMA) or New Zealand (Halal certified by FIANZ).

While these items can no longer be verified by HAFSAA as originating from Australia, this does not mean the products are not halal. Rather, it reflects a change in certification verification related to origin, not halal slaughter or handling.
