A note on certification: As of December 27, 2025, Thomas Farms ground beef is no longer HFSAA approved. Thomas Farms has stated it now sources its ground beef from multiple countries, and HFSAA only approves Thomas Farms products sourced from Australia (halal certified by ICCV or SICHMA) or New Zealand (halal certified by FIANZ).
Because these items can no longer be verified by HFSAA as originating from Australia, they are labeled Non-HFSAA. This does not mean they are not halal. They remain hand-slaughtered Zabiha halal — the change reflects verification of country of origin only, not halal slaughter or handling.
