Two burgers. The good kind.
Wagyu is marbled differently to ordinary beef — fine threads of fat running right through the muscle rather than sitting around the edge. In a burger that fat renders as it cooks and bastes the patty from the inside, which is why a Wagyu burger stays juicy even when you take it past medium.
These are hand-slaughtered Zabiha halal Wagyu, pressed into two 4 oz patties and vacuum sealed. The same beef as our family four-pack, sized for a smaller night.
Cook them hot and leave them alone. Salt on the outside only, a hard sear on each side, and don't press down — that's the whole recipe. Four minutes a side in a skillet, three on a grill, about twelve in an air fryer.
